Job summary

Cameron Ashley Building Products, a leading wholesale distributor of roofing, insulation, gypsum, siding and other building materials, seeks an Inside Sales Specialist to grow sales within a defined geographic area. You will leverage deep product knowledge to educate customers, process quotes and orders, and expand the company’s footprint.

Daily activities include outbound calls, relationship building, and collaborating with the sales team to win new business.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of sales experience with demonstrated success, including outbound calls.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Experience in the building products industry is helpful.
• Up to 10% travel and valid driver's license required.
• Ability to pass drug test and background verifications.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and engage new and existing customers via outbound calls and emails.
• Process customer orders and quotes, and manage order confirmations.
• Sell core product categories: insulation, roofing, gypsum, and siding.
• Build relationships and develop growth strategies across assigned territories.
• Prepare and submit weekly sales reports.
