Job summary

Protect Life Michigan is seeking a Strategic Initiatives Specialist to advance projects supporting its mission to end abortion. The role offers remote work with Michigan residency requirements, occasional travel, and collaboration within a Specialist team.

You will own project execution, translate vision into actionable steps, and participate in regular planning and development activities. The position emphasizes agile project management, cross-functional teamwork, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Commitment to the pro-life movement and Protect Life Michigan’s mission.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing.
• Agile project management experience preferred.
• Flexible work schedule including nights/weekends as necessary.
• Self-starter capable of independent, productive work.

Responsibilities

• Own execution of assigned projects aligning with PLM’s long-term vision to end abortion.
• Assist Managers in defining project scope and deliverables as needed.
• Apply agile methods to advance initiatives with clarity and accountability.
• Break down visions into actionable steps with clear goals and deadlines.
• Attend specialist team planning meetings and sprint huddles.
• Collaborate with other Specialists to sharpen initiatives and provide feedback.
• Provide and implement feedback to ensure quality and cohesiveness.
• Report to Strategic Initiatives Manager and participate in weekly 1:1s.
• Undergo professional development opportunities.
• Represent PLM at events and outreach across the state.
