Job summary

Protect Life Michigan is seeking a highly organized, mission-driven Event Planner to support Vision Dinners and partner events. This part-time role (20–25 hrs/week) partners with the Sr. Director of Growth to manage logistics, communications, volunteers, and donor experience.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with CRM and spreadsheet experience, able to handle confidential information, and willing to work some nights/weekends. Remote work is possible with Michigan operations.

Qualifications

  • Mission-driven alignment with Protect Life Michigan’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Highly organized with strong record-keeping and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; professional donor outreach.
  • Comfortable using CRMs, spreadsheets, and mail-merge tools; Calendly familiarity.
  • Google Sheet or Excel experience is required.
  • Events planning or financial partner growth experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing Vision Dinners, including logistics, speaker coordination, guest communication, venue negotiations, volunteer coordination, table host recruitment oversight, and timelines.
  • Manage RSVP tracking, table assignments, seating, check-in, and donor experience flow.
  • Coordinate event volunteers and staff roles for smooth execution.
  • Support follow-up strategies to maximize post-event engagement and donor cultivation.
  • Coordinate other partner events throughout the year (table host dinners, namestorming parties, etc.).
  • Oversee event logistics, including venue coordination and event materials.
  • Maintain detailed partner records in CRM and Google Sheets; ensure branding consistency.
