Job summary

Tallgrass is offering an internship in Strategic Initiatives (Finance) at our Lakewood, CO office. You will support cross-functional efforts in corporate responsibility, enterprise strategy, and internal communications, gaining hands-on experience in energy sector initiatives.

The role emphasizes data analysis, research, and collaboration across departments, with exposure to leadership and a structured internship schedule May–August 2027 for 10 weeks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, environmental science, sustainability, communications, public policy, engineering, or related field.
• Strong academic performance with focus on corporate responsibility, sustainability, communications, or strategic management.

Responsibilities

• Annual Corporate Responsibility Report: assist with copy editing, design input, data validation and communications.
• Peer benchmarking and research: benchmark CR practices against peers and identify best practices.
• Internal communications: draft content, prepare presentations, support communication plans.
• Enterprise strategy: support planning and analysis, presentation development, and project tracking.
• Corporate Responsibility Council: help organize meetings and materials.
• Strategic initiatives: contribute to initiatives across AI, culture, processes, etc.
