Tallgrass Energy, a leading energy infrastructure company, offers an internship in Corporate Communications/Public Relations. The role focuses on supporting content creation, stakeholder engagement, and research for internal and external communications.

The internship emphasizes learning, accuracy, and collaboration with leadership. Our Summer 2027 interns work a temporary, full-time schedule in a hybrid in-person/remote setup at Lakewood or Houston, spanning May to August for 10 weeks.

Qualifications

• Strong academic performance and ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to collect, organize, interpret, and present data with accuracy.
• Take directions from supervisor, manage deadlines, and shift priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Public Affairs & Communications content creation for public and stakeholder engagements.
• Help create and update community outreach lists, including legislators and officials.
• Schedule meetings, track data, and assist with notes during engagements.
• Draft internal summaries, policy issues, and potential external op-eds.
• Distribute media clips to company leadership twice weekly via the monitoring platform.
• Assist with digital/traditional communications and advocacy campaigns.
