Job summary

Tallgrass in Lakewood, CO is offering a 10-week Summer 2027 internship focused on corporate responsibility and enterprise strategy. You will work under the Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives, gaining hands-on experience across reporting, benchmarking, and internal communications.

You'll develop skills in research, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration while contributing to the annual Corporate Responsibility Report and other initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Communications, Public Policy, Engineering, or related field with expected graduation date Dec 2026–May 2028.
• Strong academic performance with a focus on corporate responsibility, sustainability, communications, or strategic management.
• Experience in project management, research, or data analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Annual Corporate Responsibility Report: assist in copy editing, design input, data validation and communications for a polished report.
• Peer benchmarking and research: analyze CR practices and identify best practices.
• Internal communications: draft content and support communication plans.
• Enterprise strategy: assist with planning, analysis, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Corporate Responsibility Council: help organize meetings and materials.
• Strategic Initiatives: contribute to AI, culture, process improvements and more.
