Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Strategic Initiatives & Execution to drive cross-LOB initiatives and coordinate with Finance and other partners.

The role focuses on translating opportunities into actionable plans and delivering approved priorities across the organization. You will partner with the Future Business Operations Strategy Lead to align initiatives with the portfolio, manage risks, and ensure timely execution in a large, matrixed environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, finance or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in program/initiative management or strategy execution.
  • Experience guiding cross-functional initiatives in a matrix organization.
  • Experience across multiple business units or lines of business.

Responsibilities

  • Drive execution of strategic initiatives requiring collaboration across multiple lines of business.
  • Build and manage initiative plans, timelines, and milestones; proactively identify and resolve execution risks and roadblocks.
  • Coordinate stakeholder alignment across LOBs, Finance, and partners throughout the life of an initiative.
  • Support end-to-end management from ideation through execution and full implementation to ensure continuity and accountability.
  • Serve as a process guide and facilitator for business leaders' top strategic initiatives, simplifying execution and removing friction.
  • Track strategic priorities across LOBs and maintain visibility into status, dependencies, and progress for the Future Business Operations Strategy Lead.
  • Act as the cross-LOB connector to prevent initiatives stalling between units.
  • Prioritize execution capacity with the Team Lead on active initiatives.
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders to enable timely decisions.

Role Overview

The Manager, Strategic Initiatives & Execution is a newly created role responsible for driving the execution of the team's cross-LOB strategic initiatives. This role picks up where opportunity identification and business case development leave off: coordinating stakeholders, managing initiative plans, and guiding execution across multiple lines of business so that approved opportunities are actually delivered. This person will act as a cross-LOB connector and process facilitator, helping business leaders simplify and execute their top strategic priorities, and will work closely with the Future Business Operations Strategy Director to keep initiatives aligned with the team's overall portfolio and priorities.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Drive execution of strategic initiatives that require collaboration across multiple lines of business.
  • Build and manage initiative plans, timelines, and milestones; proactively identify and resolve execution risks and roadblocks.
  • Coordinate stakeholder alignment across LOBs, Finance, and other functional partners throughout the life of an initiative.
  • Support the end-to-end management of strategic initiatives from ideation and opportunity assessment through execution and full implementation to ensure continuity and accountability across every stage.
  • Serve as a process guide and facilitator for business leaders' top strategic initiatives, simplifying execution and removing friction.
  • Track strategic priorities across LOBs and maintain visibility into status, dependencies, and progress for the Future Business Operations Strategy Lead.
  • Act as the cross-LOB connector who ensures initiatives don't stall at the seams between business units.
  • Partner with the Team Lead to prioritize execution capacity across the team's active initiatives.
  • Build strong working relationships with LOB stakeholders to enable timely decision-making and buy-in.
  • Support reporting and communication on initiative status to leadership as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required, in Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in program/initiative management, business operations, strategy execution, or management consulting.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Experience working across multiple business units or lines of business in a large, matrixed organization.
  • Experience in Consumer Electronics, FinTech, Health, or Telecommunications a plus.
  • Strong program and initiative management skills, including planning, tracking, and risk management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills; able to build alignment across groups with differing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives at once.
  • Clear, confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior business leaders.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and building structure in a newly formed function.
