Job summary

RINA in Boston, MA seeks a Business Development Lead to drive strategic opportunities in Massachusetts infrastructure and transit engineering, building trusted relationships with public sector clients such as MassDOT and toll authorities.

As a key contributor, you will develop client account plans, manage sales targets, and collaborate with internal teams to translate market trends into actionable strategies, delivering tailored solutions that reflect client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in MA Transportation or related market.
• Professional Engineering License in MA is a plus.
• Experience developing client account plans and key stakeholders.
• Experience writing business proposals.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and complete client development activities to generate new identified project opportunities and move those projects between stages in the BD process.
• Create and update client account plans to drive growth and guide client advocacy.
• Leverage your network of industry contacts to augment RINA's opportunities and knowledge.
• Maintain CRM data for clients, opportunities, and interactions; track sales targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals and presentations for new business opportunities.
