Job summary

RINA in Boston, MA is seeking a Business Development Lead to drive strategic initiatives identifying and securing infrastructure and transit engineering work in Massachusetts. The role focuses on building trusted relationships with public-sector clients, translating market insights into actionable client plans, and guiding opportunities from pursuit through contract.

As a key contributor, you will manage CRM data, collaborate with Marketing and BU leadership, and help shape growth with MassDOT

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Experience developing client account plans and pursuing opportunities
• Familiarity with writing business proposals
• Understanding of MA transportation market and procurement processes

Responsibilities

• Schedule and execute client development activities to generate new opportunities and advance them through the BD process
• Create and update client account plans showing growth and client advocacy
• Leverage personal network to augment opportunities and industry knowledge
• Maintain CRM data for clients, opportunities, and interactions
• Meet or exceed net sales targets and participate in industry events
