Amazon Inc. is seeking a Sr. Tech Infra Program Manager to drive capacity planning across AWS regions and align demand with data center capacity. The role focuses on delivering a single regional plan of record, improving utilization and availability, and coordinating execution planning with AWS stakeholders.

You will work with diverse teams to forecast capacity needs, shape infrastructure strategy, and lead cross-functional efforts that impact the long-term reliability and cost of AWS.

Responsabilités

• Shape the infrastructure strategy of your region and plan for future growth in the 0-24 month horizon.
• Identify opportunities to invent and simplify processes, identify business risks and implement resolutions and scalable mechanisms.
• Communicate ideas concisely to stakeholders for approvals from leadership.
• Plan for network requirements per site for order plan and network reserve.
• Plan and initiate dedicated spine builds, intercept builds and resize per the recommended planning values.
• Intercept builds for emerging customer requirements and communicate changes per established process.
• Resolve racks on hold blockers to meet the org goals.
• Resolve blocked order blockers to meet the org goals.
• Initiate and manage projects to meet power usage targets.
• Perform customer impact analysis as needed.
• Work with supply chain and service owners to prioritize rack landings in constrained regions.
• Prepare and present mitigated views in weekly review meetings.
• Deep dive and communicate supply changes (WoW, MoM).
• Plan for rack retirements and migrations based on infra needs.
• Perform position inventory and build updates as needed.
• Work with brick planners and network TPMs on resolving position constraints.
