Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Herndon, VA is seeking a Tech Infra Program Manager to drive capacity planning across AWS regions, aligning demand with data center capacity and coordinating execution planning.

You will work cross-functionally to improve infrastructure utilization and availability, develop the single regional plan of record, and lead mitigation efforts in response to capacity constraints. This is a high-impact role shaping AWS's long-term capacity strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and SQL.
• 5+ years of data center or network capacity planning, data center or network infrastructure program/project management, or related technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan data center capacity for the 0-24 month horizon.
• Plan for rack retirements and migrations based on infra needs.
• Plan for network requirements per site for order plan and network reserve.
• Intercept builds for emerging customer requirements and communicate changes per established process.
• Prepare and present mitigated views in weekly review meetings.
• Deep dive and communicate supply changes (WoW, MoM).
• Work with supply chain and service owners to prioritize rack landings in constrained regions.
