Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a senior program leader to drive capacity planning for AWS global network infrastructure.

You will forecast demand, work with software, networking, finance, and supply chain to translate needs into procurement strategies, and influence scalable infrastructure investments. You will lead initiatives to improve forecasting accuracy, reduce planning cycles, and mentor cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams.
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain network capacity forecasts that inform procurement planning and guide infrastructure investment decisions across AWS global operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including software, networking, finance, and supply chain to translate capacity requirements into executable procurement strategies
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities that enhance forecasting accuracy, reduce planning cycles, and enable faster scaling
• Lead strategic initiatives that balance efficiency, performance, and reliability while optimizing costs for network infrastructure investments
• Partner with senior leaders across multiple organizations to align capacity planning with business growth objectives and drive alignment on resource allocation
