Job summary

Dean Dorton seeks a high-impact Industry Advisory executive to lead strategic market expansion in the Greater Cincinnati region. The role targets well-connected leaders with CFO/COO backgrounds to originate revenue opportunities across accounting, tax, advisory, technology, cybersecurity, risk, and operations services.

The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing or related sectors, deep executive relationships, and a proven ability to drive multi-service

Qualifications

• 15+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, distribution, industrial services, logistics, or related sectors.
• Preferred: CFO, COO, division president, commercial executive, private equity operating partner, or senior strategic advisor.
• Strong Cincinnati market relationships and regional business network.
• Proven track record of driving growth, partnerships, or revenue expansion.
• Deep understanding of operational, financial, and strategic challenges facing the sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a Cincinnati-region growth strategy focused on middle-market manufacturing and distribution.
• Build relationships with CEOs, CFOs, COOs, lenders, private equity, and industry associations.
• Identify and originate new business opportunities across multiple service lines.
• Represent the firm at industry events and strengthen brand in key ecosystems.
• Translate pain points into solutions and shape go-to-market strategies.
• Mentor internal teams on industry trends and market positioning.
