Job summary

Dean Dorton is seeking an experienced Associate Director - Construction Tax Services in Cincinnati to lead a diverse client portfolio. You will supervise engagements, mentor teams, and drive business development while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality service.

The role blends technical tax expertise with leadership, client relations, and firm-growth responsibilities, requiring a CPA license and a strong background in construction or real estate tax scenarios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
• Minimum of ten years of experience in a tax role with construction/real estate focus preferred.
• CPA licensure required and leadership experience expected.
• Ability to manage client engagements, teams, and firm growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage client service teams and engagements across construction tax.
• Review tax returns and workpapers to meet regulatory requirements.
• Develop deep understanding of construction operations, job costing, and project accounting.
• Mentor teams, drive business development, and participate in firm initiatives.
