Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is seeking an experienced Manager, Procurement Indirects to lead sourcing and category management for indirect spend. You will partner with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that optimize costs, supplier performance, and supply continuity across multiple bakeries.

The role requires onsite collaboration four days per week, with a focus on driving enterprise value through data-driven decision making and procurement leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or related discipline.
• Experience leading RFx processes, supplier negotiations, evaluations, and supplier selection initiatives.
• Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills with the ability to quantify business value.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong presentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies that align with operational, financial, and risk management objectives.
• Lead strategic sourcing events, including RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs, from planning through implementation.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and supplier contracts to deliver value, service excellence, and cost optimization.
• Partner with operations and functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into procurement solutions.
• Manage supplier relationships through performance metrics, scorecards, business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze spend, market trends, supplier performance, and procurement data to support informed business decisions.
• Drive procurement governance, savings initiatives, process improvements, and procurement transformation efforts.
