Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is seeking a strategic Manager, Supply Planning for our Los Angeles HQ. You will craft executable production schedules aligned with demand, inventory targets, and service levels, partnering with internal teams and suppliers to minimize waste and maximize fill rates.

You will lead end-to-end planning, analyze trends, and drive improvements across demand, supply, and logistics. This onsite role requires collaboration four days a week in LA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of ERP systems including SAP Master Scheduling, Production Planning, MRP with purchasing exposure.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint; able to work with large data sets.
• APICS, IBF, IBP, or Lean Six Sigma certification strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to collaborate across levels.
• Experience with DDMRP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize end-to-end supply and replenishment plans.
• Identify inventory risks and implement mitigation.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues and drive improvement.
• Lead cross-functional meetings to align on supply priorities and forecast accuracy.
• Drive production prioritization with weekly reviews and vendors.
• Contribute to short-term capacity planning with timely inputs.
• Monitor performance against plan and adjust strategies.
• Analyze sales trends to refine supply strategies for growth.
• Maintain replenishment planning systems to generate stock transfers.
• Communicate inventory strategy changes to customer-facing teams.
• Investigate root causes of supply disruptions and implement corrective actions.
• Lead initiatives like new product launches and inventory rationalization.
• Define and manage inventory targets including safety stock.
