Job summary

Valar Atomics is building a world-class indirect sourcing function to support rapid growth in energy technologies. You will own cross-functional supplier selection, negotiate across CAPEX, IT, and professional services, and design scalable sourcing policies.

The role emphasizes cost modeling, RFx processes, and robust risk management while partnering with stakeholders and external suppliers to drive value and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field. MBA/Master's a plus.
• 10 years of experience in indirect sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Proven track record negotiating contracts across multiple indirect categories.
• Experience operating in a fast-growth and/or highly regulated environment.
• Strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills, partnering with non-Supply Chain functions.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/procurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Own cross-functional supplier selection and lead negotiations across indirect spend categories.
• Design and drive sourcing policies and procedures that maximize efficiency and scalability.
• Implement cost modeling to identify and prioritize high-impact savings opportunities.
• Present sourcing strategy and results to executive leadership.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with indirect suppliers and service providers.
• Track market trends across indirect categories, integrating new data into sourcing strategy.
• Proactively identify, monitor, and mitigate supplier and contract risks.
• Manage contract renewals, SLAs, and vendor performance across the indirect supply base.
