Becton, Dickinson and Company in Sparks, MD is seeking a Principal Indirect Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing across HR, IT, Marketing, MRO, Professional Services, Real Estate & Facilities, Transportation, and T&E. You will drive cost savings, negotiate supplier contracts, and manage relationships to support business objectives in a regulated healthcare environment.

This role emphasizes indirect procurement strategy, change management, and M&A integrations, reporting to the Director of Indirect

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in business or supply chain.
• 8+ years of experience in indirect procurement or strategic sourcing.
• Experience supporting change management, continuous improvement, and M&A procurement integrations.
• Experience managing multiple indirect spend categories.
• Willingness to support new categories as business needs evolve.
• Authorized to work for ANY employer in the US; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies across indirect spend categories.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and deliver OpEx/CapEx savings.
• Negotiate supplier contracts to secure favorable terms.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance against expectations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement with business goals.
• Track and report savings KPIs and procurement metrics to leadership monthly.
• Support change management and procurement integration for mergers and acquisitions.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance.
