Job summary

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in indirect procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in contract management and vendor management.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Experience with SAP and Concur and other ERP systems
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Supply Chain certifications are a plus.
• Experience beyond just a buying role.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete vendor management lifecycle from initiation to contract completion.
• Manage numerous projects such as identifying low-cost alternatives, analyzing conversion opportunities, and facilitating implementation to completion.
• Identifies process improvement and cost-saving opportunities and recommends appropriate action steps to realize savings.
• Develop and implement cost-based reduction strategies capable of delivering annual target savings.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate and maintain favorable terms, pricing, and contracts.
• Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations.
