The Hillman Group is actively seeking an Indirect Sourcing Lead to manage end-to-end vendor relationships, drive contract management, and optimize indirect spend across manufacturing operations.

You will lead supplier negotiations, oversee procurement processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement category strategies that align with organizational goals and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in indirect procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in contract management and vendor management.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Experience with SAP and Concur and other ERP systems.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete vendor management lifecycle from initiation to contract completion.
• Manage multiple projects such as identifying low-cost alternatives, analyzing conversion opportunities, and facilitating implementation to completion.
• Identify process improvement and cost-saving opportunities and recommend actions to realize savings.
• Develop and implement cost-based reduction strategies capable of delivering annual target savings.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate and maintain favorable terms, pricing, and contracts.
• Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new product developments, and technologies relevant to the category.
• Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of category strategies.

Job Summary

The Indirect Sourcing Lead will be responsible for end-to-end vendor management including vendor initiation, negotiations, and contract management.

Essential Job Functions *

1. Manage the complete vendor management lifecycle from initiation to contract completion.
2. Manage numerous projects such as identifying low-cost alternatives, analyzing conversion opportunities, and facilitating implementation to completion.

8. Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams, including sales representatives and marketing managers, to ensure the successful execution of category strategies.

Education & Experience
