Job summary

Pregis is seeking a Buyer to manage indirect procurement, P2P administration, and spend analytics to drive cost savings. The role collaborates with NPD, engineering and program management to source parts for prototypes and support pilot packaging machines.

Ongoing supplier onboarding, KPI tracking and timely procurement decisions are essential in a fast-paced environment. Strong data skills, attention to detail and teamwork are required to succeed at Pregis.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field.
• 2–5 years in purchasing, sourcing, P2P or supply chain ops.
• Procure-to-Pay platforms experience (Coupa, Ariba, SAP, Jaggaer, Esker).
• Experience using AI to automate routine tasks.
• Experience managing indirect spend (MRO, facilities, fleet, office supplies).
• Spend analytics, KPI reporting, market trends and savings tracking.
• Vendor negotiation and terms management.
• Advanced Excel skills: lookups, pivots, reconciliation.
• Thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Detail-oriented with good time management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Cooperative, customer-service oriented and independent.

Responsibilities

• Procure indirect products and services and manage P2P processes.
• Administer Procure-To-Pay platform, onboard suppliers and internal users.
• Source parts for New Product Development and support prototyping with engineering and PM.
• Analyze spend data, KPIs and savings with Procurement Directors and external partners.
