Job summary

1 Arc Power seeks a hands-on Buyer to own day-to-day purchasing and logistics for our R&D and prototype builds, scaling to mass production. You will run the P2P cycle across direct and indirect categories, from order placement through delivery, receipt, and invoice, in a fast-paced hardware startup.

This role requires 2–4 years in purchasing or supply chain coordination, experience with POs, BOMs, and international shipments, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years experience in purchasing, buying, procurement, or supply chain coordination, ideally hardware.
• Hands-on experience creating and managing POs (manual or via P2P system).
• Knowledge of full P2P cycle, including 3-way match.
• Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments with forwarders, carriers, brokers, or 3PLs.
• Able to read BOMs, part numbers, and basic technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Place and manage orders for R&D/NPI builds and mass production.
• Convert BOMs into POs; confirm pricing, quantities, lead times, and delivery dates.
• Track open orders, expedite and inform stakeholders of delays.
