Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Lead for Identity & Access Management Automation & Strategy to drive automation, optimize processes, and advance Digital Coworker capabilities. You will partner with engineering, security, product, and business teams to identify opportunities, develop scalable solutions, and support IAM modernization initiatives.

The role combines hands-on automation development with strategic planning to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience across IAM.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
5-10 years of experience in cyber security, IAM, automation engineering, software development, or related disciplines.
Hands-on experience developing automation workflows using the Tines platform.
Experience identifying automation opportunities and implementing efficiency improvements.
Experience with Digital Coworker, AI-enabled automation, or related technologies.
Experience integrating enterprise applications and security platforms using APIs and automation frameworks.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions for IAM processes and services.
Build and maintain workflows using the Tines automation platform.
Support the design and implementation of Digital Coworker capabilities and intelligent automation.
Develop integrations between IAM platforms, security tools, ticketing systems, and enterprise apps.
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and reduce operational risk.
Translate business requirements into scalable automation solutions.
Support testing, deployment, monitoring, and optimization of automation.
