Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Business Analyst for Identity & Access Management (IAM) Strategy & Product Management to bridge business needs with cyber security and technology capabilities. You will partner with product managers, engineering, risk, and compliance to define requirements, analyze processes, and support strategic IAM initiatives.

The role drives IAM product strategy, roadmap governance, and operational excellence across IGA, PAM, Access Controls, Directory Services, Authentication,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Business or related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in BA, product management, consulting, cyber security, or IAM.
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts and practices.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop IAM strategy roadmaps aligned to business goals and security priorities.
• Define product vision, OKRs, and success metrics with IAM teams.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis for IAM trends.
• Evaluate new IAM capabilities with business cases and cost-benefit analysis.
• Create executive presentations and strategy documents.
• Gather and validate business requirements and translate to user stories.
• Support agile ceremonies and backlog grooming.
• Coordinate UAT and business validation activities.
• Develop metrics and dashboards to measure program performance.
• Ensure IAM controls meet regulatory and security obligations.
• Analyze IAM data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
