Auto Warehousing Company in Dearborn, MI is seeking a Senior Claims Manager for our Regional Office with a hybrid schedule (3 days in the Dearborn office). This is a salaried role with annual bonus eligibility based on performance and market considerations.

The Senior Claims Manager will lead the claims function across operations, supervise regional managers, and partner with operations, carriers, TPAs, legal counsel, and customers to optimize loss mitigation, cost control, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in risk management, business administration, occupational safety, insurance, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of claims administration, litigation management, insurance principles, reserving practices, and loss analysis.
• Experience partnering with insurance carriers, TPAs, brokers, legal counsel, and regulatory agencies.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and oversight for the company's claims management program across motor vehicle liability, property damage, cargo damage, general liability, and related claims.
• Supervise and develop regional Safety and Claims Managers and professionals with consistent practices and expectations.
• Develop and improve company-wide claims policies, procedures, standards, systems and best practices.
• Oversee significant claims from reporting to resolution, including investigations, root-cause analysis, reserve reviews, and litigation strategy.
• Analyze trends and prepare executive dashboards, metrics, and KPI reports; implement improvements for cost reduction and better outcomes.
• Manage customer damage claims and coordinate with carriers, TPAs, and customers to ensure timely resolution and communication.
• Support renewal activities with loss analyses, claim summaries, and underwriting documentation.
