Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a pricing analytics professional to support revenue growth by analyzing historical data and performance to advise on profitable rate structures. You will collaborate with firm partners, Pricing Leadership, Business Development, Marketing, and Legal Project Management to craft pricing options in response to client RFPs and ad-hoc requests.

This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Solid analytical skills and attention to detail; self-starter.
• Proficient in summarizing and charting large data sets.
• Advanced MS Word & Excel with VLOOKUP & PivotTable usage.
• Previous experience in a law firm or professional services desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work with Firm Partners and Pricing Leadership to develop rate proposals and pricing options in response to client RFPs and ad-hoc requests.
• Identify rate renewal opportunities and obtain Practice Group approval for pricing proposals.
• Mentor Pricing Analysts and develop financial models for pricing strategies.
• Perform historical analytics to identify risks and drivers of fee magnitude for pricing models.
• Support systems, tools, budgeting templates and processes for pricing, discounting and rate renewals.
• Ensure billing setup and documentation captures pricing arrangements and client notes.
• Communicate progress, risks and wins to Pricing/Firm Leadership; contribute to strategic initiatives.
