Intersect is an independent Interconnection Engineering team focused on driving interconnection strategy for generation and large load projects, with a primary emphasis on ERCOT. You will lead end-to-end interconnection processes through COD, coordinate with utilities, ISO, and regulators, and guide study interpretation while mitigating risks and informing design and cost certainty.

Qualifications

• Experience with interconnection studies and transmission planning.
• FERC/NERC and ISO/RTO interconnection requirements knowledge.
• Experience in ERCOT market and regulator context.
• Ability to lead complex technical processes and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end interconnection processes from development through COD.
• Develop short-, mid-, and long-term interconnection strategies.
• Engage utilities, ISO, and stakeholders as primary contact.
• Review study results and develop mitigation solutions.
• Support cross-functional teams with interconnection expertise.
• Maintain internal tools and reporting on portfolio status.
