Job summary

East Point Energy seeks a Senior Transmission & Interconnection Execution Engineer to lead interconnection across the full project lifecycle, from development through commissioning and operations. You will serve as the SME for interconnection, coordinating with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, EPC, and internal teams.

Responsibilities include developing interconnection strategy, ensuring integration with engineering and procurement, managing risks, schedules, and compliance with NERC standards, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Masters in Electrical Power Systems preferred.
• 4+ years of interconnection execution experience across multiple RTOs/ISOs (senior) or 6+ years (manager).
• Experience leading generator interconnection through full lifecycle in development and EPC environments.
• Experience with NERC compliance standards; BESS IBR integration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead interconnection strategy from application through IA and through full lifecycle.
• Coordinate with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, and EPC teams across all project stages.
• Ensure compliance with NERC standards and review interconnection-related deliverables.
• Support procurement, design reviews, and risk management in transmission interconnection.
• Identify and mitigate transmission/interconnection risks across projects.
