Job summary

ENFRA LLC in Los Angeles is seeking a seasoned HSE Director to lead the development and implementation of safety management programs across our projects, aligning with operations and executive leadership to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

You will supervise HSE personnel, conduct investigations, coordinate site inspections, liaise with OSHA and other agencies, and ensure compliance with CFR standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related technical field.
• Proven track record of establishing programs and delivering continuous performance improvements.
• Working knowledge of regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
• Strong leadership, presentation, and influencing skills across levels and cultures.
• Ability to solve complex problems and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and able to tackle ongoing projects.
• Knowledge of safety management fundamentals, risk assessments and industrial hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Formulates and implements safety plans for construction operations that comply with regulations.
• Maintains knowledge of local, state and federal regulations and environmental laws.
• Receives complaints and reports on safety concerns and conducts investigations.
• Main point of contact for workplace injuries, accident investigations and near-misses.
• Visits construction sites to conduct inspections and ensure policy compliance.
• Liaises with agencies such as OSHA, USACE, and Fire Marshal.
• Oversees safety training and toolbox talks.
• Represents the company in meetings with government bodies on health and safety matters.
