Job summary

ENFRA LLC is seeking a skilled HSE Manager to oversee safety across Business Unit projects, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. You will drive project safety efforts, communicate conditions to the HSE Director and site leadership, and support the implementation of safety programs.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in OHS, 7 years of construction safety experience, OSHA Outreach Trainer certification, and strong training and incident-investigation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• 7 years of construction experience.
• 1 year of on-site safety experience.
• OSHA Outreach Trainer certification.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED Trainer.
• Working knowledge of government regulations, hazard control methods, and industrial hygiene.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct training and influence organizational behavior.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to tackle multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiar with industry competitors.
• Ability to multitask and perform duties beyond scope when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct field safety orientation training.
• Daily inspection of machinery, equipment, and working conditions for safety compliance.
• Observe workers to ensure proper use of PPE (glasses, helmets, goggles, respirators, clothing).
• Inspect areas for fire-prevention equipment, first-aid supplies, and other safety devices.
• Test work areas for hazards using safety equipment.
• Prepare daily safety reports with corrective action recommendations.
• Investigate accidents per procedures to identify root causes and preventive measures.
• Document all accidents, safety violations, unsafe conditions or behavior.
• Assist in developing JSA, SHMP, and PSSP safety plans.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings with workers on practices and requirements.
• Demonstrate equipment use and conduct safety training.
