Job summary

ENFRA is seeking an experienced HSE Business Unit Director to drive the development and implementation of safety management systems for its construction operations. You will align HSE with operations, lead regional teams, and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and ANSI standards while reducing risk and elevating performance.

The role demands strategic thinking, strong leadership, and the ability to communicate across all organizational levels. Travel approx. 50% to site locations will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field, or BCSP certification.
• Proven track record in establishing and implementing HSE programs.
• Strong understanding of OSHA/EPA regulations and safety management fundamentals.
• Leadership and communication skills across multiple levels.
• Ability to analyze risks and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement safety policies for construction operations per regs.
• Coordinate with regional HSE teams to meet safety targets.
• Investigate accidents and report findings with corrective actions.
• Lead safety training and toolbox talks for the unit.
• Maintain OSHA/ANSI regulatory knowledge and documentation.
