Job summary

Musco Sports Lighting is seeking an Human Resources Business Partner to support leaders at its corporate headquarters in Oskaloosa, IA. This onsite role translates business priorities into people strategies across workforce planning, leader coaching, and consistent team member relations.

The HR Business Partner partners with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that advance organizational goals and reinforce Musco’s core values and culture, using HR data to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or a related field with 5+ years HR experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and applying it in HR practice.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and coaching skills.
• Ability to analyze HR data and metrics for decision-making.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Translate business priorities into people strategies aligned with Musco’s culture and objectives.
• Lead workforce planning by assessing current and future needs and developing headcount and talent plans.
• Improve leader effectiveness through coaching, feedback, and development support.
• Address concerns, performance issues, and workplace relations objectively and in line with policies and laws.
• Align HR programs across the lifecycle to strengthen engagement and retention.
