Job summary

State Electric Supply Co. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner focused on Talent Acquisition & Engagement. You will drive full-cycle recruiting, develop strong hiring partnerships, and lead engagement initiatives to improve retention.

You will collaborate with managers across multiple locations, leverage data to refine hiring practices, and help shape employee growth and career pathways within the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in recruitment, employee engagement, or HRBP roles preferred.
• Experience with campus recruiting, workforce development, or community partnerships preferred.
• PHR/SHRM certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting, including posting, outreach, screening, interviews, offers, and pre-employment checks.
• Develop interview guides, scoring tools, and evaluation forms.
• Train managers on behavioral interviewing and equitable selection practices.
• Design engagement initiatives and recognition programs to boost retention and culture.
• Build talent pipelines with colleges, schools, and community orgs; represent the company at events.
