Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager, HRBP to partner with executive leaders in Servicing, driving talent strategy and people initiatives. This embedded role focuses on data-driven HR, workflow modernization, and scalable organizational impact within a fast-paced, tech-forward environment.

Responsibilities include shaping talent strategy, organizational design, leadership development, and workforce analytics, with a strong emphasis on AI adoption and frontline enablement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• 5+ years of client facing experience OR 5+ years of consulting experience OR a combination.
• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience is preferred.
• MBA or Master’s degree is preferred.
• Professional HR Certification or Senior Professional HR certification or coaching certification is preferred.
• 7+ years of client facing experience or 7+ years of consulting experience or a combination.
• 6+ years of experience in Human Resources or Human Capital Consulting.

Responsibilities

• Drive Business-First People Strategy: Partner with executive leaders to design and execute talent strategies aligned directly to business imperatives.
• Optimize Operational Architecture: Lead complex organizational design and capacity planning across large associate populations.
• Lead Talent Calibration & Succession: Facilitate talent reviews, calibrations, and succession planning to build leadership pipelines.
• Drive Frontline Enablement & Retention: Leverage data and feedback to diagnose friction and improve enablement and retention.
• Pioneer AI & Future-Skills Workforce Transformation: Leverage AI tools, analytics to modernize HR execution and advise on AI readiness and upskilling roadmaps.
• Architect Strategic Talent Mobility: Build proactive talent pipelines and hiring strategies to close capability gaps.
• Executive Storytelling & Advisory: Package talent insights into persuasive business narratives for executives.
• Govern Employment Risk & Well-Managed Practices: Partner with ER to manage risk and ensure compliant environment.
• Orchestrate HR Ecosystem Solutions: Collaborate with COEs to deliver integrated human capital solutions.
