Job summary

Addison Group is partnering with a growing transportation services organization to hire an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) in Wilbraham, MA. This onsite role focuses on employee relations, leave administration, leadership coaching, compliance, workforce planning, and talent initiatives across multiple locations.

The HRBP will advise operational leaders, support a large workforce, and drive HR programs, engagement, and risk mitigation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in an HR Business Partner or strategic HR role.
• Experience supporting leaders in mid-sized to large organizations.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, benefits, leave administration, performance management and employment law.
• Regular travel to regional locations is required; overnight travel may be needed.
• Workday experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to address employee relations matters and workplace concerns.
• Provide guidance on performance management, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation.
• Support leave administration processes, including FMLA and ADA accommodations.
• Conduct workplace investigations and recommend resolutions.
• Coach leaders on employment law compliance and engagement strategies.
• Respond to employee inquiries related to benefits, payroll, and HR programs.
• Assist with succession planning, talent development, and workforce planning initiatives.
• Monitor compliance standards and support audit readiness efforts.
• Analyze workforce trends and contribute to retention and risk-reduction initiatives.
• Build strong partnerships with operational leadership to support business objectives.
