Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a Principal HR Business Partner to drive talent strategy for Operations and Quality across multiple sites. You will partner with COE teams to deliver end-to-end HR solutions, develop workforce capability, and support succession and leadership development.

You will work with senior leaders to align HR initiatives with business goals, influence decisions, and foster high engagement. Occasional travel across the United States is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
• Typically 5+ years as an HR Business Partner, preferably supporting Operations.
• Experience influencing managers to drive urgent, strategic hiring decisions.
• Experience in a matrixed organization across multiple sites or functions.
• Ability to travel within the United States as needed.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic HR leader and change agent for Operations and Quality.
• Build trusted relationships with Operations leaders to shape talent strategies.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to attract and retain Operations talent.
• Coach managers on leadership, development, and complex employee relations.
• Deliver succession planning and build technical talent pipelines in Operations.
• Manage performance, compensation planning, and annual talent cycles.
• Support change initiatives related to culture and cross-functional programs.
• Drive engagement and continuous improvement within Operations.
• Travel within the United States as required.
