Job summary

County Materials is seeking an HR Business Partner to serve as a strategic advisor, aligning HR strategies with site-level goals and driving talent management, engagement, and performance across the operation.

The HRBP will provide guidance on employee relations, recruiting, compensation, and change management, partnering with leaders to deliver scalable people solutions that foster an inclusive, high-performing workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Management, or related field.
• 4+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR functions: employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
• Deep understanding of employment and labor laws at local, state/provincial, and federal levels.
• Experience building collaborative employee relations in fast-paced or union-sensitive environments.
• Proven ability to support change initiatives and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement HR strategies aligned with corporate policies to support short- and long-term objectives.
• Serve as trusted advisor to site leaders on workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, and organizational design.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to manage end-to-end recruiting processes across hiring events, interviews, and offers.
• Interview and support selection of salaried personnel with compliant hiring practices.
• Provide coaching and HR guidance on employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Promote a high-engagement, high-productivity environment through proactive coaching and assessments.
• Lead organizational design, workforce effectiveness, and succession planning initiatives.
• Manage HR data, reports, and analytics to identify trends and opportunities.
