Job summary

Hansell Tierney is seeking an experienced Strategic HR Business Partner for Finance on a six-month contract. The role acts as the primary strategic HR partner to senior Finance leadership, supporting compensation planning, performance cycles, org design and change management across the Finance function.

Based in Seattle with hybrid onsite requirements (Tue-Thu), the position requires strong executive presence, independence, and the ability to advise Finance VPs while aligning HR and business

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of HR Business Partner or related HR experience.
• Experience supporting Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Audit, or Corporate Functions.
• Strong change management and communications capability.
• Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR partner to Finance senior leadership and their organizations.
• Support compensation planning and performance review cycles for the Finance function.
• Build trusted advisory relationships with Finance VPs and translate business priorities into HR strategies.
• Provide counsel on organizational design and change management, including risk assessment and sustainable solutions.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to define role requirements and accelerate hiring for critical positions.
• Lead employee relations matters and workplace investigations from initiation through resolution.
