Job summary

Brookfield Residential in Scottsdale seeks an HR Advisor to partner with regional People Leaders and drive talent strategies across recruitment, performance management, development, compensation and succession planning. You will provide input on policy interpretation and contribute to company-wide frameworks with a regional perspective.

Expect travel to local field sites to connect with teams and support day-to-day talent initiatives, including development, onboarding, and leadership training

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR/business experience in talent development, recruitment, performance management and compensation.
• Undergraduate degree in business or related discipline.
• Solid working knowledge of related employment regulations and legislation.
• Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and the ability to influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and coach managers and team members to manage performance management and employee relations issues.
• Advise with Performance Reviews and other HR development processes.
• Travel to local field sites regularly to establish relationships and understand the business.
• Enable leaders to recruit for, interview and select top talent, and to execute full cycle recruitment activities.
• Support the annual compensation process and align with the company pay framework.
• Ensure job profiles are properly leveled to achieve market-competitive pay.
• Coach leaders on pay-for-performance philosophy and employee experience.
• Develop and deliver training programs in collaboration with HR team.
