Job summary

Corporate Office - Livermore is seeking a People & Risk Business Partner to blend strategic HR partnership with hands-on management of workers' compensation, general liability, property, and safety risk for the organization.

The role acts as a consultant to company and store-level leadership on employee relations, talent, and workforce strategy while owning investigations, administration, and reduction of workplace injury, security, and liability claims across the assigned territory, with travel

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in an HR role as a manager, generalist, or business partner.
• Preferred 1 year experience handling workers' compensation or liability claims.
• Proficient in MS Office and HR systems.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with store leaders to assess HR, safety, and risk needs and deliver solutions.
• Collaborate with Operations to implement HR, safety, and risk goals.
• Develop strategic talent plans and training to reduce injuries and losses.
• Conduct investigations of employee relations issues and safety incidents.
• Manage workers' compensation, general liability, and property claim processes.
• Prepare Cal/OSHA 300 reports and maintain compliance.
