Burger King - 1549 - N Cedar in Fresno, CA is seeking a People & Risk Business Partner to combine strategic HR partnership with hands-on management of workers' compensation, general liability, property, and safety risk across the organization.

The role acts as a consultant to company and store leadership on employee relations, talent and workforce strategy, while owning investigations, administration, and reduction of workplace claims in the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in an HR role as a manager, generalist, or business partner.
• Experience handling workers' compensation, general liability, and property claims preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies and employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Work with management to determine HR, safety, and risk needs and provide solutions.
• Lead investigations and coordinate with operations to reduce workplace risk.
• Develop talent plans, training, and succession strategies across stores.
• Administer workers' comp, GL, and property claims; file required reports (Cal/OSHA, etc.).
• Support employee relations and maintain confidential records.
