Job summary

J. Ambrogi Foods is seeking a Recruiter/Generalist to lead recruitment for the company and its sister entities, Kristy Kuts and Ambrogi Truck Shop.

This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented candidate with HR administration knowledge in line with state and federal guidelines, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The position supports the HR Director in benefits, leave administration, employee relations, onboarding, policy implementation, and compliance with affirmative

Qualifications

• 3 - 5+ years of Human Resource Recruiting experience (production or warehouse environment preferred).
• Payroll administration experience preferred.
• HRIS experience required, preferably using Paylocity.
• Bilingual - Spanish speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead proactive outreach and recruiting for all levels across JAF, KK, and ATS.
• Screening, interviews and offers; coordinate road tests for drivers.
• Complete background checks and schedule pre-employment drug screening.
• Manage timecards and payroll processes, including PTO tracking; utilize Paylocity for HR/payroll operations.
• Support HR Director with benefits administration, leave programs, employee relations, onboarding, and policy implementation.
• Update job descriptions and assist in developing department goals and systems.
