Job summary

Roskam Foods is seeking a People Operations Associate Generalist to support weekly payroll, timekeeping, employee records, and recruitment activities. You will assist with compliance, training coordination, and employee inquiries in a busy HR environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, strong organization, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and discretion with confidential information are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required or actively pursuing degree.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Payroll support: assist in weekly payroll preparation and respond to inquiries.
• Timekeeping/attendance support in timekeeping systems.
• HR record keeping: maintain employee records with confidentiality and accuracy.
• Recruitment assistance: schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communication.
• Compliance: ensure HR practices comply with labor laws and assist with audits.
• Training and development: help coordinate training programs and track completion.
• Employee relations: handle basic inquiries and escalate complex issues.
• Documentation and reporting: prepare HR-related reports and management documents.
• HR communications: distribute policies and updates to employees.
• HR software and systems: enter data, generate reports, troubleshoot issues.
