Job summary

Capital One seeks a Principal Project Manager to independently manage cross-functional stakeholders and drive end-to-end project delivery. You will balance scope, timelines, and budgets while turning strategic ideas into concrete outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll partner with senior leaders to design plans, mitigate risks, and communicate effectively across all levels, delivering impactful programs and process improvements with a bias for action.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience.
• At least 5 years of Project Management, Process Management or Chief of Staff experience.

Responsibilities

• Quickly ramp up on emerging domains and bring structure to complex, ambiguous problems to deliver high-impact outcomes.
• Execute large and small-scale projects that contribute to broader business initiatives.
• Drive projects based on defined priorities while ensuring scope of deliverables, timelines, and budgets are met.
• Identify risks and issues, mitigating and escalating them as needed to manage project impacts.
• Plan, design, manage, and execute project plans through feasibility, design, planning, and implementation.
• Leverage problem-solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation.
• Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery.
