Legend Biotech in Bridgewater, NJ is seeking an HR Policy, Risk & Controls Manager to strengthen governance across HR policy, risk, and compliance programs. You will partner with HR leaders to design, document, and maintain controls, while serving as a second line of defense with Internal Audit.

The role oversees HR controls, regulatory reporting, and audits, maintaining the HR Risk & Control Matrix and driving remediation with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, risk management or related field.
• Master’s degree in HR, business, law or related discipline a plus.
• Certifications in HR/compliance preferred (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP, CCEP).
• Minimum of 5 years in HR/compliance/internal audit/risk management or similar; ability to work cross‑functionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain HR policies aligned with regulatory and company requirements.
• Monitor HR compliance and mitigate emerging risks.
• Lead compliance assessments, corrective actions and remediation.
• Oversee HR risk indicators, reporting and governance.
• Manage HR data privacy and investigation governance from an HR compliance perspective.
• Oversee HR regulatory reporting and training as appropriate.
• Maintain the HR Risk & Control Matrix (RCM) and ensure documentation is current.
• Partner with HR owners to ensure controls are understood and properly executed.
