Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive HR experience across ER, performance, recruiting, engagement, or HR operations.
• Foundational knowledge of employment laws and when to escalate.
• Consistently apply policies while balancing employee needs and business requirements.
• Build credibility through listening, clear communication, confidentiality, and follow-through.
• Support managers in HR processes, data analysis, and practical recommendations.
• Strong communication with employees and leaders at various levels.
• Organized, curious, dependable, and eager to grow HR business-partner skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; related HR experience may substitute.
• Proficiency with Office and ability to learn HRIS, ATS, LMS, reporting systems.
• Office-based role with occasional production-floor and lab exposure; ~20% travel.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders on workforce priorities including planning, headcount, vacancies, and turnover.
• Use workforce trends to identify needs and support action plans.
• Provide employee relations and compliance support; respond to questions and guide investigations.
• Apply policies consistently and elevate high-risk matters.
• Develop manager capabilities on goal setting, feedback, and development.
• Support talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, and employee experience initiatives.
• Coordinate performance reviews, succession planning, and training administration.
• Strengthen engagement and culture through surveys and recognition.
• Collaborate across HR to provide consistent support across departments and shifts.
• Partner with HR and EHS on safety initiatives and employment-law compliance.
• Support compensation and change initiatives with market and job information.
