Job summary

The City of Henderson seeks an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to lead day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, workforce planning, and full-cycle recruitment, within the Talent Acquisition and Recruitment division of the Department of Human Resources.

Successful candidates will have experience with labor contracts, strategic talent acquisition, and strong stakeholder management, with the ability to multi-task and adapt to priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or a closely related field.
• Five or more years of HR generalist, supervisory, or management experience in multiple HR disciplines.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
• Must pass fingerprint-based and wants/warrants checks; NCIC/NCJIS certification required.
• Desirable: PHR, SPHR, PSHRA-CP, or PSHRA-SCP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day employee and labor relations, workforce planning, full-cycle recruitment, and talent acquisition for the City of Henderson.
• Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies and workforce planning to meet organizational needs.
• Liaise with stakeholders across departments, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring compliance with contracts and agreements.
• Coordinate with security and background processes as part of hiring, and support organizational equity.
