Job summary

General Atomics is seeking an HR Business Partner to lead organizational development and talent initiatives across client organizations. You will consult with leaders to resolve employee relations issues, design processes, and support succession planning and talent management on enterprise programs.

You will leverage strong coaching, communication, and analytical skills to deliver training, drive engagement, and ensure compliance with Federal and CA employment laws while partnering with Talent

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's in Business Administration with emphasis in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Training or related field and 10+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Ability to identify issues and develop solutions across varied scope and complexity.
• Excellent written and spoken communication to present findings to senior management and external parties.
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence and guide all levels of employees including senior managers.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ability to initiate, plan, and manage projects.
• Strong overall computer skills.
• Willingness to work independently or in teams and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to identify behaviors and performance indicators that drive results.
• Drive career development, engagement, and retention through proactive HR initiatives.
• Facilitate talent development sessions on Talent Management and Leadership Development.
• Develop HR training for client groups and support Leadership Development programs.
• Educate leaders on Federal and CA employment laws and apply policies to employee issues.
