Job summary

General Atomics is seeking an experienced HR Program Manager to lead enterprise-wide HR programs and drive process improvements. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines and budgets, and implement HR technology roadmaps.

Responsibilities include creating SOPs, training, and delivering data-driven solutions across HR, IT, and contracts. This onsite role is based in California with 0-25% travel and requires senior-level HR program leadership.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Training or a related discipline and ten or more years of progressive professional experience in a corporate Human Resources department.
• Demonstrates an extensive technical expertise and application of human resource principles, theories, concepts and practices, with the ability to organize, schedule, conduct, and coordinate workloads to meet established milestones with some experience in project leadership.
• Ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret data and develop innovative solutions to a variety of complex matters of diverse scope and nature
• Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings to a variety of audiences including senior management and senior external parties
• Excellent interpersonal skills to influence and guide all levels of employees, including senior managers and senior external parties
• Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
• Initiate, plan, and manage projects
• Represent the company on external projects
• SAP SuccessFactors experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple enterprise-wide Programs and Projects within HR.
• HR Project Leader for future work process and system implementations identified on the HR Technology Roadmap.
• Create SOPs, Work Instructions, and related process documentation for all Programs and Systems you are responsible for.
• Deliver Program and process training across the HR organization and participate in Project Improvement Workgroups.
• Workcollaboratively with internal stakeholders and suppliers to implement system and process enhancements, optimize functionality, and meet SLAs.
• Perform non-technical Program Management from initiation through delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement to bring projects to completion on time and within budget.
• Create and maintain related process documentation for HR Programs and Systems.
• Through customer focused Program Management and data analytics, identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions.
• Lead Program Reviews with Business stakeholders.
• Deliver program and process training across the enterprise that improve service deliverables.
• Collaborate with IT, HR Teams, HRIS, and Contracts & Purchasing to optimize functionality and SLAs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
