Job summary

CMC, a Fortune 500® company, invites you to join our HR team to support a 24/7 operation across multiple sites. You will handle unemployment claims, employee relations, benefits, and recruiting while ensuring compliance with EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, and related laws.

With a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least 2 years in HR, you will collaborate with site leadership, manage open enrollment, and contribute to performance development and compensation planning to help our workforce

Qualifications

Knowledge of recruiting, employee relations, benefits, training, and compensation
Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a Generalist role
Ability to work a schedule outside normal hours for a 24/7 operation

Responsibilities

Review and respond to unemployment claims
Partner with site leadership to address people issues and develop solutions
Assist with investigations and formulate responses to government or internal reports
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws
Oversee annual benefits open enrollment and recruiting processes
Support compensation planning and performance development
